CERAMIC TILE
Ceramic tile is often used for high-traffic areas such as kitchens, mudrooms, hallways, and living areas or for homes with pets, due to its durability resistance to scratches. Ceramic floor tiles are softer than marble or porcelain which makes them comfortable to walk on. An added benefit is that they tend to stay cooler than porcelain, making them popular in homes in warmer climates.
LUXURY VINYL
There are many benefits to luxury vinyl tiles and flooring products for interior and exterior settings. Generally, they are more affordable than wood flooring, marble, or porcelain. In addition, they are extremely durable, waterproof, and scratch-resistant. They retain their newly installed look for a long time. Last but very important they are warm and soft to walk on and have a natural sound barrier.
WOOD & PLANK TILE
Engineered natural wood floors are very popular due to their soft warm feel. They provide a beautiful glow to the home in the evening and look great in all types of lighting. Ceramic Plank ‘wood looking’ tiles are also a great alternative for areas that are high traffic. They are durable and great for bathrooms, laundry and kitchen.
PORCELAIN
Porcelain can look and feel like a natural stone without the expensive cost. Ideal for a luxury looks in commercial properties because they are resistant to harsh cleaning chemicals. For the home, they are a great option for kitchen or bath due to their high resistance to stain, scratch, and moisture.
GLASS TILE
Glass tiles reflect the light to give your kitchen or bath the appearance of being brighter and larger. This is what makes them ideal for kitchen backsplashes. They are also very easy to clean, just a little soapy water or all-purpose cleaner will do the trick. They can be used in showers as mold and mildew don’t readily grow on the glass.
